McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® (MSTR®): Level 1 Training (Live Online)

Live Online Small Group Class

Scars are far more than skin deep. McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® (MSTR®) is a gentle, evidence-informed technique that releases, softens and restores movement in scar tissue and adhesions — from surgical scars and caesarean sections to old injuries and burns. Research shows that untreated scars can be a contributing cause of ongoing pain and therapeutic failure (Lewit & Olsanska, 2004).

For Pilates instructors and movement teachers, integrating MSTR® opens a new dimension of client care — addressing fascial restrictions that movement and strengthening alone cannot reach, and transforming outcomes for clients carrying the hidden impact of unresolved scar tissue.

Pilates ITC Students have access to earlybird pricing: $455 (RRP: $485 standard)

Simply enter the code: PITC30 at checkout to redeem your discount.

Live Online Small Group Class

Full-day live class via video conferencing, capped at 6 participants. Students bring a practice partner for real-time technique feedback. Same content and accreditation pathway as in-person.

Time: 9am – 1pm AWST (11am – 3pm AEST)

All formats lead to MSTR® Accredited Practitioner status and listing on the Australian and international Find A Practitioner directories. A qualification in a medical speciality, bodywork, therapeutic touch, or movement teaching is required to enrol. Check with your industry association for CPE point recognition.
