Course Focus
TITLE NEEDS TO BE "Course Focus" NOT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
PARAGRAPHING DOESN'T DISPLAY. Complete Pilates Method Instruction is designed to extend professional capability through the study of specialised and advanced applications of the Pilates Method. The course emphasises the integration of scientific theory, applied practice and professional judgement across all major apparatus: Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, small apparatus and Pre-Pilates repertoire within a professional studio and broader health framework.
The program develops expertise in programming and instruction for moderate-risk and specialised client populations, including those engaged in rehabilitation, elite athletic performance, and dance conditioning. Learners refine the ability to design and deliver evidence-based, client-centred programs that address complex physical needs and performance goals. A defining feature of the course is the synthesis of archival and contemporary Pilates frameworks, enabling analysis of the Method’s evolution and application of classical principles within modern professional practice.
This integration fosters technical precision, pedagogical insight and a nuanced understanding of how tradition and innovation intersect in contemporary Pilates. The curriculum also incorporates leadership, professional ethics and studio management, positioning Pilates in context of health, rehabilitation and performance practice.
To enrol in Complete Pilates Method Instruction Students must have successfully completed the Complete Pilates Instruction or a recognised equivalent qualification via Pilates ITC RPL.
To study an individual Advanced Pathway, candidates must have completed the associated undergraduate Pathway that aligns with the advanced study area.
This ensures each learner enters with the appropriate foundational competencies to engage at an advanced level.
Complete Pilates Method Instruction comprises six discrete Pathways that are designed as stand-alone micro credentials, but come together to make one, robust postgraduate level certification.
Advanced Pathways can be studied individually or stacked over time toward the full qualification, providing flexibility for both established Practitioners and those seeking advanced specialisation:
