What You'll Learn
Our curriculum honours the Pilates Method as taught by Joseph Pilates and is strategically informed by modern health and evidence-based movement science, anatomy and physiology to create a comprehensive and balanced learning experience.
- Pilates Method Fundamentals: history, principles, anatomy and physiology, and biomechanics.
- Reformer Repertoire (56 exercises).
- Reformer Programming for group class: The Pilates International Categorisation™ (PIC) System (Studio/Reformer).
- Small Apparatus Repertoire (52 exercises): Fitball, Foam Roller, Magic Circle (Pilates Circle), Weights and Poles, and Theraband.
- Matwork Repertoire. (51 exercises)
- Matwork Programming for group class: The Pilates International Categorisation™ (PIC) System.
- Teaching Communications.
- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
